Click for larger image	Camera 5 custom mounted on Hitachi HF2000 FEG projection chamber windows at GA Tech Material Science and Engineering This TEM had its bottom port occupied with a GATAN EELS and a GATAN side entry camera. The 35mm camera port could not be used for accessory mounting since the column separation valve is in a hinged, rather than a sliding configuration. The only place available for accessory mounting was the projection chamber. The following modifications were done: A) The viewing screen motor was interlocked with the scintillator control to prevent damage to the TEM or the scintillator, B) The specimen translation encoder's shafts were extended with flexible shafts and the encoder's knobs were moved forward for operator convenience.
